What does **DIS-REGISTRATION REQUIRED FOR LEC** mean?   You must also select a corresponding discussion section to complete enrollment for this course.

What is a Prerequisite?   Prerequisite : A prerequisite is a required preparatory course(s) or test score. Students who have not completed the prerequisite may be prevented from enrolling in the course. Enforced prerequisites appear in the course listings in this schedule. Students who have course work from another institution that may satisfy the course prerequisite should consult their academic advisor and the department offering the course.

What is a Restriction?   Restriction : A restriction limits enrollment in a course to students in specific class levels and majors or to those who need approval of the instructor or department.

What does “CLOSED, Waitlist only” mean?   This means that a course is closed for enrollment, but a student can be placed on a waiting list if seats become available at a later time. More information about the Waitlist option can be viewed at: Waitlist

What does “LCA” mean?   This is a class activity type code that means “Additional Lecture”. This is typically associated with some of the lower-division math courses.
